Presently my work reveals an obsession with feelings and associations, personal and universal, fictive and factual. I create visual narratives born of my own chaotic view of reality. The characters and creatures in my work hold nothing to be sacred and they don’t care to tell a story. I oppose the notion of linear narrative and insist that the viewers find their own stories. My images are always in constant warfare competing for power. They are simply not in control of their own destinies, but act on their need for power with sexuality, violence, and identity.

During the creation of these images I begin to understand my need to escape. The process of creation allows me to free myself from my provocation of daily struggles. Ironically, I escape this world by drawing images from my own imagination that subsequently reflect the world I try and escape.
