Pamela Skinner Gallery

Home About the Gallery Artists Exhibitions Special Events

Pamela Skinner/Gwenna Howard/Contemporary Art started as Excentrique Functional Art Gallery more than 10 years ago. Over the years Pamela Skinner developed an edgy, contemporary art gallery with a steady, unwavering vision for style and creative innovation.

Always on the cusp of new and exciting art, the gallery features mostly Northern California artists who work with a variety of media, including new and found steel, aluminum, and found material. The two-dimensional art is represented with oil and acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, pen and ink, on canvas, wood, board and paper.

In November 2004, Gwenna Howard joined Pamela. As business partners/owners, they run the gallery together. Gwenna's background is in marketing and PR and a lot of her efforts will point in that direction.

The gallery is relocated to 723 S Street (in the back).

The gallery space is a unique warehouse large and very industrial with lots of windows and natural light. A Sacramento Art critic described it as "Industrial Chic." We're looking forward to the years to come with exciting, new, art showcased in a perfect setting
